with addition... Do I dip this stuff or am I addicted to making radios?
hmmmm Well either way, I had to make about 5 of these for my Army
Buddies. What a novelty conversation piece they all said, and it
works too! I think this classifies as a pocket crystal radio.
I used 30g wire but couldn't get enough inductance to tune the
whole band, oh well. This is quiet a simple design and is a blast
to listen to an old snuff can! I used a bat-46 diode as opposed
to a 1N34A. for some reason they seemed to work a little better
in this configuration. I did spend some time using Visio to make
the custom lid graphics. If anyone cares to use the same template
and you have Visio, email me and I can send it to you.
